With Halo 5, Fallout 4, and BO3 all pretty much coming out, and probably being the 3 most sold games this year, Destiny has no chance of survival.
Please, if you're a fan of Destiny, be honest, do you really think people would still play Destiny? Clearly Destiny is popular, but it can't last forever. I understand it may be hard, and you can keep playing it, I don't care if you do, but it won't be as popular as these new games. Sure these games have their issues, but Destiny has all the issues that these games have. (except graphics, because Destiny at least has decent enough graphics, although I think it's only 30 FPS)

To simply answer the question, no. Literally every other game out right now is better than Destiny. Heck, I'm looking forward more to a game about nature than Destiny 2.
-
Can you say Destiny won't die without being a fanboy? I'm a casual Destiny player.
-
Sadly it's a game that has millions under a massive addiction. It's a drug. I put the game down a while back and don't plan on going back. But it won't die. It's built to be an addictive game. A casino with guns so to say.
-
3 RepliesNever dies, at least a lil time on tuesday or friday will always be dedicated to Destiny and you all know that.
-
With actual competition, and no new content announced, Destiny is going to lose more players.
-
I think destiny will hold up pretty well. But with newer games (shooters in particular) coming out so frequently, bungie will have to make a lot of changes in destiny 2 when it so that it can maintain its style and feel, but keep up with other games.
-
It's gonna die by January Game gives shit now
-
Love destiny and it is probably my favorite game. Since playing BO3 I'm going to take a LONG break from destiny
-
I haven't played destiny since bo3 came out. Will come back so I don't get bored but I won't be pounding destiny like I used to
-
2 RepliesThe way it's designed it can't die. Even if another popular game comes out sooner or later there will be a content update or DLC that brings back the playerbase.
-
Nope, I'll stick to destiny and wait around for weekly resets and time gates. ;)

Edited by PlayerEliminator: 11/9/2015 12:30:42 AMThis game has done what it set out to do become, the Bieber of video games. Enjoy Desticles hahahahahahah. Next Holloween, Bungie will give you smooch points for egging your neighbours house masks. Enjoy dumbasses
-
I feel like destiny won't "die" until either the sequel comes out or another popular MMO type game is released
-
I mean, if grown men want to sit around and play a game that makes them fill candy bags to turn in for Halloween masks, go ahead. I'll go play a real game in the meantime though... Desticles are cute. Kinda gay, but cute.
-
Halo and cod stand no chance. Fallout 4, maybe..
-
Destiny wont die, but will lose a lot of players. Im not a fanboy but im sure it will stay strong
-
It won't die until Bungie shuts down the servers. People will come and go, but it won't die. Maybe if a Destiny clone comes along and trumps it in every way, but idk if that'll ever happen.
-
It won't die, but a lot of its community will certainly at least be taking breaks to different games. For example: pvp players will be playing a lot of bo3 and halo 5, and those expecting an rpg from destiny will get lost in the countless hours of fallout 4.
-
5 RepliesIt's an mmo that's more addictive than cocaine. It won't die. I'm personally putting it down and never playing it after the fallout 4 release, but it's the kind of game that won't die easily.
-
I got rid of Destiny yesterday. I now have forza, Halo, and Fallout. I feel as if a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.
-
6 RepliesBlacks ops 3 is so bad.
-
2 RepliesIt probably won't die, those that play it are probably dedicated to the game now, I've got a number of friends trying to convince me to buy the complete pack and start playing again but so far I've not had a good reason other than its what it should have been at launch
-
2 RepliesDestiny won't die. It will lose a very large portion of its fan base for around a month or two but it won't totally go RIP.

Was super hyped for Halo 5. Got bored, went back to destiny. Hope Fallout is better.
-
People are still buying CoD so I'm sure Destiny is fine.
