Well ill cite the 13,000 studies supporting climate change if you would like to finish off citing the rest of your 23.
Climate change isnt something you believe in, its an irrefutable, empirical fact.
Its as much of a fact as the earth orbiting the sun.
So if you dont believe in climate change then why would you believe there are 9 planets in our solar system?
pluto is a planet, dont fuking discriminate
Hey...
Pluto's not a planet. Love you.
-
Wouldn't cooling and expansion of the ice still be considered climate change?
-
Yeah of course it would
-
So then while I get what you're saying, you argued that climate change is undeniable when OP still pointed out what's technically still climate change.
-
Yeah that argument can be used but it would be the same as measuring humidity changes in a cup while you are pouring water in it

Edited by Æsir: 11/4/2015 1:40:44 PMClimate change is a constant that has been happening since long before humans walked the earth. Global warming on the other hand is an overblown myth because let's face it, the average global temperature has gone up by less than 2 degrees in the last 135 years. For all we know that is all part of a greater weather cycle and we haven't been measuring temp for long enough to see the whole cycle. So yeah climate change is a fact and it would be happening with or without humans but "global warming" is a joke. Oh, and Pluto's not a planet anymore.

You understand that you are arguing against the basis of swapping over to post scarcity green technology because we dont know? What if this climate change cycle is happening 4x faster than any other cycle on planet earth? What if it is a myth? Should we stick to limited supply fossil fuels and our current darwinistic capitalistic society? What if its a fact? Should we not worry about it and just let our kids deal with the new wars over resources when their time comes?
-
I am not arguing that at all, green technology is fantastic and dependence on fossil fuels is not sustainable. I'm really not arguing a cause here rather arguing the existence of something.

Well i cant participate in that argument because how the hell do i know that im not just a crazy 80yr old staring at a wall in a aged care home. Catcha, much respect to you man. Im sharp in the way i speak from frustration on the topic, not the person
