Well unless I'm confused o some of it, couldn't his sisters bring him back like he did with them while in a war? He brought them back, why can they not bring him back?

 • Yeah I just read all the fragment cards I have. Apparently one of Oryx sisters tricked crota into cutting a hole into Oryx throne world, so the vex invaded forcing Oryx to move his throne world into the dreadaught. We killed Oryx in his throne world so he's supposed to stay dead... The only way he was able to bring his sister to life again was because he didn't kill them in their own worlds. Sword logic is crazy shit

 • They weren't killed in their throne worlds; thus they could be brought back. Oryx was killed in his throne

 • Tree actually at the time they shared a throne world. It literally states that it was a true death.

 • Their thrones are separate. It's a true death in the sense that it happened in a sword world where the cruel killing logic applied

 • Sword world was the shared throne world. Remember at that time they were not separated, they were not till he moved to the osmium throne

 • In the cards about the Vex incursion, it always specifically says Oryx's throne world. It's not shared. Oryx moves his world into the Dreadnaught

 • So does this mean that the Vex control Oryx's old throne world? Or did moving it, make his old one disappear? If not, it would be pretty cool place for a Hive/Vex raid.

 • He took his old one and put it in the Dreadnaught. The Vex were defeated

 • Yes, but in this card, star by star by star, they haven't even defeated the ecumene. He hasn't gotten his wings, he hasn't even killed akka. He didn't move his throne world Checkmate

 • From a verse before that:
For twenty thousand years they fought across the moons and they fought in the abyssal plains and lightning palaces of each other's sword spaces. And they killed each other again and again, so that they could practice death.
Their throne worlds (sword spaces) are all separate

 • But they use sword world. That means they must have gone to each others to execute each other, leaving oryx with the power. They would use true death AND sword world, it just is preposterous
