Just wondering.

1 ReplyMy only thought here, take it or leave it, is that elemental burns on nightfall are weighted far more in favor of the adds than the players if players do not have elemental primaries. Think about it. Arc burn week on a Fallen strike. Nearly every single enemy uses arc weapons and can kill me with one or two shots, but the only benefit I get from it is a stronger shotgun? Which I need to hope is high enough in light to use, has arc properties, and is actually a good weapon for this particular strike? Point being, burns help the player very little if we don't have elemental primaries. I use my special and heavy for very specific moments, I'm not gonna use rockets on a group of fallen captains or a knight. Maybe a bunch of yellow bars. Idk. I get them wanting to add variety so no one would use the exact same weapons, but if they want to do that they could just give us a way to add elements to whatever weapon we want.
