Back to the start of destiny?

So, I've been playing destiny since release, I liked the game even when everyone said it was mediocre. I've seen its evolution, I've seen how it have gotten better but... Are we going back to where it started? If you're new, one of the things most hated about destiny (beside the lack of content and expanded story) was the grinding... Stupid right because this is a game basically about grinding we should embrace it? Well no, it's not stupid, you had to grind a lot for upgrade materials to get your equipment to the highest defense so you could get the highest light level, it wasn't easy and it was completely annoying. Doing the same thing over and over until you could get your maxed out gear. Why do I said we're going back to this? Well that might be a bit wrong, I think we've dropped in something worse. Now you do the kings fall raid (hard/normal doesn't matter) is it any different that grinding for ascendant/radiant materials? It's a lot worse, upgrading materials guaranteed you max light level with 'effort' (?), what does the kings fall guarantee? A drop by killing oryx that could actually be worse than your current items so you will have to discard? What happens if it's higher than your current equipment but yet not the higher you can get? Then deep inside you know you will get rid of it eventually for something better, you might say "dude there's infuse learn to use it, skrub" dude, would I risk dropping the light level of my item for infuse? I mean it's quite easier to just upgrade the new thing you got it's just annoying. This is entirely based on luck not effort that's why it's worse than grinding for upgrading materials. I will share with you my experience, I've done the normal kings fall 5 times I think, I've got 4 cloaks for my Hunter in the following order of defense, 303 > 305 > 300 > 309. So what the fudge? Give me my 310 gear already normal kings fall, the only 310 thing I got straight was the ghost shell, so do I need to grind for Infinity until I'm lucky? Now let's go to the hard kings fall, I got the machine gun with 311 attack when mine was 310, well thanks? I need to grind until I'm lucky to get something to get this machine gun to 320? Great. Then I got the rocket launcher, 313 thanks bungie that's a lot better. Then I got the armor 318, yeah that's great I still need more runs to get it to 320 if I'm lucky. And the final thing the effing cloak with 311. Really bungie? Now my friend who actually was with me the entire time got his light level to 314 when I'm stuck at 310 because of bad luck with RNG? I will be stuck here forever then, this shouldn't be like this, I would accept the RNG if it was like HoW expansions, "dude this is so hard to loot it's very rare it drops" but when it does it's actually worth it. Now if the item is common but the higher defense/attack is uncommon, people is like "yeah I got 10 of this, whatever"... Imagine if the happened with the almighty gjallarhorn from year one, yes it was awfully overpowered but who didn't laugh or get super hyper and excited when you got it? I mean when I got mine it was one of my happiest moments in destiny, imagine if you had like 7 and you kept discarding it because it wasn't the higher attack gjally. Your bad luck instead of your dedication... It's complete stupidity right there. This needs to be fixed guys reward effort not luck. Best regards, DeimerX. PS: Don't you dare to start the damn trials without fixing the stupid quiver it's not my fault you couldn't debug.
