Technically, the only truly dead Hive bosses are Crota, War Priest, Golgoroth, Ir-Anuk, Ir-Halal, and Oryx. They were all killed in the "Ascendant Realm", whereas the rest on this list were killed on our physical plane, so they can be returned to life.
At least that's how I have interpreted the whole thing.

Only Crota and Oryx have throne worlds, so the other are dead indeed

The dark blade is dead too. If I remember correct oryx managed to destroy his throne world leaving him only in this realm. So when we killed him we killed him permanently.
-
Tho his daughters could have their own realm
-
Actually, now that I think about it, his daughters are truly dead. Because they hid their deaths inside one another, instead of in throne worlds, so by killing them both, we truly killed them. The only surviving members of Oryx's family are Savathun and Xivu Arath. Who I'm betting will be featured in future DLC.

Who turn out to be Eris and the Queen. The Traveller is also a cacoon for something

Haha I think you're going on a little far on that limb with that theory, but okay.
-
You're forgetting Nokris as well.

Edited by GoldenArms27: 10/26/2015 4:40:12 PMWho's Nokris? Edit: Oh right, from the statue we scan in Regicide. Well, Nokris isn't mentioned anywhere in the Book of Sorrows, or besides that mission. So we really have no way of knowing if Nokris is related to Oryx directly, or anything about him/her. It's certainly possible that Oryx created another son/daughter, but since Nokris isn't spoken of at all in the Book of Sorrows, I'm reluctant to call him/her one of Oryx's family.
-
No idea. He has a statue with the same importance as Crota just before you face Oryx in regicide. Nolanbot says that there's no mention of him in the world's grave
-
True, and they probably do, so I guess they're not dead either.
