Well you can't get a refund sir. The fact that you have received 7 of the same items in a row is just something that you will have to get over. It's a video game and I'm sure that you'll get over it eventually.

You Sir, are wrong. I bought a product. Nobody is doing me 'a favor'. The fact that it's a video game does not mean that a customer needs to have lower expectations. If there's a problem with the product you purchased, It's the manufacturer's responsibility to fix it. Think about that next time the McDonald's guy spits in your burger... hey, it's just McDonald's ... get over it.

Colorful, but accurate illustration of the supply/demand dynamic. Businesses will always do the least amount they have to in order to attract and retain customers. Likewise, customers will pay the least they can in order to obtain their perception of satisfaction. If what you paid does not provide your minimal required satisfaction level, you will not remain a customer. Satisfaction requirements from the public are economic moving targets and it is in a businesses best interest to continually adapt their product to match those requirements. This duplicate exotic engram issue has been posted many, many times, so I don't think Bungie should ignore it. Particularly since they touted prior to TTK release how the exotic drops were specifically upgraded to avoid such an issue.

And what can bungie do to change it? There are only so many exotics per item category. If you get all of them should your exotics decrypt into shards instead? Didn't think so

There's not a problem though. It's just unfortunate that RNG is giving you a rough time. It's not a deliberate attempt from Bungie or a higher power trying to sabotage your gaming experience.

I disagree, it is apparent that the RNG is broken. It's not RNG if you keep getting the same thing.

Well seeing as the random number generator and there is only so many items per slot so eventually you will get doubles or more of an item can't change it. Sucks to suck but RNG Is RNG I'm not sure if there is a game without the use of it
