3 RepliesPeople seriously shouldn't be dicks about this. Why does the destiny community love to bash new players when they find something that "superior year 1 players" have found before. This game's community gets shit on enough it'd be nice to welcome newer people rather than push them further away. Hell when I first heard this theory I was blown away, the only thing keeping me from posting on the forums was the thought of dicks leaving smart ass comments

I watched it and liked it. Would love him as my ghost. All these people saying omg look at the book of this and that.. it was written by bungie, the book could be propaganda spread by the speaker. I really wouldn't put it past that we are the undead soldiers of the darkness and the travellers light has corrupted our senses and we see all these enemies as evil when for all we know they actually look human. Maybe this is why when the taken came we never said to any of em hey they are a bigger threat so let's team up then kill each other after.

Remember when IGN interviewed Luke Smith before Taken King, and how the question of wether or not the traveler was evil arose, he hesitated for almost 5 seconds before saying that he couldn't reveal any story details, this is were I originally though the traveller was going to be the antagonist. Game theory has solidified my thoughts.

There's so many metaphors planted in that lore pointing to us Guardians being just anouther part of the problem, there's mythological and religious influences throughout. Some of it gets to Acid and DMT trip levels lol especially the Ahamkara shit which could explain why Dredgen Yor thinks he is "All that is right and good". We Humans, Exos and Awoken (all used to be human) are fighting anything that is different and not human all in the name of some floaty godlike being in the sky that never speaks to us except through Fragments pieces of its former self. My belief is that this game may be a psychological experiment with subliminals and metaphors to show people in the world, differences aside we are all as bad as each other, we will bring our own downfall if we don't tread carefully. It could also be a way to spark revolution and new world order cause why the hell are we fighting over earth when we can invest all that energy into expanding our reach in the universe. But we have to all find our humanity and strip ourselves of ego. Ego leads to temptation :-) think about it all.
