Previously the crash situation was that firefly sometimes glitched and enemies recently exploded would continue to explode as you got new kills This seemed to overload Destiny with physics chain reactions and crash After patch I have still seen the glitch, very rarely But it hasn't crashed when it happens Seems like the underlying firefly glitch remains With Bungie only addressing the worst symptom - crashing Maybe they capped the physics calculation limit or something Just a Band-Aid fix
