Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?

Felt that the overall play experience was good. Sunbreakers---coming from someone who nearly went unbroken in a match playing one----need a nerf to the damage resistance. I tanked a FoH hit in one match. Loot system changes? Unqualified disaster, and needs to be scrapped. Took all the things we hated about the Year One loot system, and put them all into IB. It was like playing a giant slot machine...and they call slots "One Armed Bandits" for a reason. The old system worked much better, and did a better job of rewarding people in proportion to the effort they put into the playing. Not only were the drop rates for IB really bad...and totally unacceptable as a primary means of getting gear....the other things that were dropping were largely useless to end-game level players. Motes of Light? Strange Coins? Rare gear with 260 light level? I got better rewards playing 30 minutes of CoO than I did playing the whole week in IB (not counting the IB gear drops).
