How was your first night in the Iron Banner?

Seeking constructive feedback. Tell me about your experience. Please stay on topic. Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat? Talk to me, Guardians. UPDATE: I know people quit games when they know they won't win. I'm more curious about your perceptions for how the power-level advantages work. Help me help you. Stay on target!

I did not enjoy this Iron Banner at all. Once I grinded out my 3 characters I didn't really want to keep playing. Normal I grind it out but I saw no reason to. The reward drop rate isn't high enough to keep playing. I also felt the power difference was meh. It was confusing on what was important. I would compare my setup with members of my fireteam. They would have a light level of 304 yet their primary would be a 288 and their crit damage would be higher then me when I was 304 with a 302 primary. Why the difference? Trying to figure out why crit damage was different per character was confusing. It would be all over the place. I would get 32 to 35 in the same range. That may not seem like a big swing but it is. 3 points of damage per pulse is a major difference with the new meta.
