Never played the halo series but trough destiny i'm really exited about this one. The thing about destiny I like the most is the gameplay. Is halo comparable in term of gameplay mechanics? Can you do stuff in halo like you can do in destiny, like double jumping?

No. Despite a few features that may seem similar to those seen in destiny, those features do not work the same way they do in most other games. Winning a halo match takes skill and knowledge of halo tactics. Multiplayer gameplay revolves around map and power weapon control. I could go into the specifics, but I don't have the time right now. If you're thinking about getting into halo and it's multiplayer, I'd recommend playing with and/or getting advice from experienced players.

Edited by Tartan 118: 10/18/2015 11:16:26 PMDouble-jumping in Halo is I think one of the new movement mechanics in H5. Trying to remember from the beta. Same with side-thrust, ground-pound, and the mantle. I would say Halo's combat sandbox is as rich as you're going to get outside Destiny's sci-fantasy universe of element types and named enemies. But one big thing Halo's sandbox has over Destiny's is the vehicular combat, which has always been a hallmark of Halo's: tightly-controlled, wonderfully-designed vehicles that are fun and easy to use. Also new in H5 is the ability to command squadmates.
