The entrance into the raid was better for VoG I think. -The section before the second fight is better in KF (awesome jumping puzzle). -The entire Templar boss fight area (confluxes, oracles, and Templar) is better than The -Warpriest's Trial and the Warpriest. -Cant really compare Golgoroths maze and Golgoroth to the Gorgons, but based on content I would go with Golgoroth. -Second KF jumping puzzle is better than the VoG jumping puzzle. -The sisters are better than the gatekeepers (I always found the gatekeepers in VoG pretty full). -Oryx is better than Atheon hands down. The intensity of the boss fight is ridiculous.

  • I think Gorgons are better. The maze is easy to memorize and nothing beats the anxiety of trying to sneak around the Gorgons for the first time while listening to their sensor-like cries. But yeah, you can't compare Golgoroth itself to the Gorgons, since, ya know...one's a boss and the other is a sneak section. To be honest, the sisters and Oryx bore me. The mechanics are too simple, though that doesn't save me from finding SEVERELY incompetent people who can't -blam!-ing listen. Most of the time you're just sitting up on a plate and shooting things. Or even worse, you're just jumping/running around. At least VoG made you stay on your toes with the exploding harpies and praetorians. Maybe the hard mode raid will spice it up a bit. All in all, VoG and King's Fall are almost tied, but VoG is really combat intensive and I love it.

VoG really doesnt make me stand on my toes lol. I just enjoy the communication required for oryx. For Atheon all you had to say was "I got relic" or "Portal open" or "Get to middle and shoot Atheon"

  • The communication part gets boring once you know what the hell you're doing and everything comes second nature to you. In which case it's just sitting there shooting ogres or doing some easy platforming while making small talk or listening to the other people scream because they're getting an adrenaline rush from their first time or whatever. I just want more things to shoot that actually shoot back...not these boring ogres that are staggered and annihilated within two seconds a piece...or even worse, the deathsingers beforehand. That's what I mean by standing on your toes. Where if you stop shooting you're going to have a lot of problems. It's just more fun and involved IMO.

  • That's why I enjoy bringing new people through oryx. Keeps you on your toes because you know what you're doing so it's like an extra challenge I guess. I'm usually watching what they're doing lol

  • I enjoy taking new people through who can actually use their ears and brain. Unfortunately, I never find people like that, and thus I tend to only get into inexperienced groups now if my friends ask for my help. Everything up to daughters/Oryx is fine. Then it becomes frustrating. Then it becomes tiresome. You'll see after having a few runs that take waaaaaaaay too long for stupid reasons.

  • I have had those runs. I have had failed raids. I just tend to not tire if helping out a few people. Ive killed oryx probably 12 times and I guess I could say Im a pretty strong leader. So it hasn't been really rough, but it's always nice to get into those one hour raids

  • Seeing oryx for the first time is awesome aswell. Fighting Oryx really feels like you're fighting a god.
