Anyone else agree?
NO

Anyone else agree?
Then trip mine shouldn't be a OHKO.
-
Oh you've got a knife stuck in your head? I'll give you ten seconds and you'll be fine
-
So should a flaming fist to the throat.
-
4 RepliesNot really. No other melee can one-hit someone and has that type of range. If you want a buff, increase the velocity of the knife.
-
Edited by jitsudave: 10/17/2015 7:33:38 PMNo as this would be too easy to one shot people. Tripmines should always one shot in a certain area though
-
Yup or trip mines should be 90% of the time people walk into it and receive 195 damage and keep on going has always pissed me off
-
Agree
-
I've found that in Iron Banner that it's a one hit kill with the burn, not on impact. You have to be above 300 though.
-
I did this a few times yesterday all on people with full shields.
-
Ever been consistent with knife throws to the head before? It's not that easy.
-
In a sci-fi world... No... Plus if a knife one shotted then a titans punch would surely crush you skull... So no...
-
1 ReplyYes I believe they did that in the beta but to many people were complaining about it so they took it out or something but I still think it should be instant kill just because it would make sense since it's a hard shot to make in the heat of the moment and hunters don't have an instant kill move but Titans do and warlocks have long ranged melee attacks.
-
9 RepliesThen all the melee should be a ohk
-
Erm...it does
-
1 ReplyBut... It does
atleast for me it does
-
6 RepliesWhy? My bicycle helmet can stop it, you can't throw it with enough force using those stringy Hunter arms. You're talking as if you can shoot the knife out of a gun.
-
Any throwing knife to the head should kill in pvp. (Excluding iron banner if light level isn't close enough)
-
6 RepliesNot really, since warlocks require a super to one shot melee, and titans require either an exotic or a secondary skill node. On top of that, throwing knives have way more forgiving aim/headshot mechanics than people give them credit for.
-
3 RepliesAs a hunter main I disagree. Countless times I've panicked, I mean truly skilled, thrown the knife at someone's belt and gotten precision damage. I am completely fine with how it is. Honestly if it were to one-shot in crucible would be filled with hunters that would use throwing knives especially with the cool down reset. I'd use it and my K/D would double because it's just that easy to get precision damage with it. Then we would be plagued with people changing their names to 'the juggler' or 'xx420juggler666xx' even 'mlg 360knife'. We can all agree we don't need this.
-
bring the aim assist down then yes
-
If it's a heashot it should kill if it's a body shot I'd say half health
-
6 RepliesI defend this. Put it this way. If someone in real life body checked you, would you instantaniously die and fall to the ground. No, probably not. If someone stabbed you in the head with a knife or threw a knife at you and hit you in the head, would you die? Most likely.
-
I think that would be a bit too strong
-
Even though i play as a hunter religioulsy, i disagree. They arent very difficult to use, and it give every other class one more reason to whine.
-
Wholeheartedly agree.
