Almost all of that is wrong, though.

  • Not on mobile, but yes I do. The gist of it being: Gun control undoubtedly works in many ways. Hitler didn't take away guns. Chicago has strict gun control because it high crime rates, not vice versa. Arming teachers or guards is expensive, dangerous and does not make schools safer.

I was mostly going after the point, not the "facts" he put in there

  • Then what do you consider the point of the post? The idea of arming guards and/or teachers in schools?

  • In Sweden everyone has the right to bear arms and is trained. There are no shootings there.

  • Literally none of that is correct. Gun ownership in Sweden is a privilege, not a right. To own a gun in Sweden, you need a license. Only 6.5% of all people have such a license. All guns and gun owners are registered. You need to be a member of a hunting or sport shooting club and have passed the examination. There is a limit on how many weapons a person can own and it is illegal to carry them in public (both open and concealed carry) except for when it's for a very specific reason. All firearms must be stored at home in a special safe and can only be transported in certain ways (unloaded and securely stored). And there are still shootings in the country. You should really consider not talking about things you know absolutely nothing about.
