You better hope 343 have done a better job than they did of halo4's gameplay

Better hope? You realize there was a beta and there's tons of footage and opinions from many halo players right? It's way different than halo 4. Gameplay isn't what we have to worry about. Stability on launch day is. Gameplay wise, it's pretty damn sweet. I had a blast testing it last december, and the overhaul to the mechanics seem to have made it even better.

Edited by MightyJonE: 10/14/2015 3:02:02 AMThat was just part of the multiplayer, a small slice of the complete game. I'm thinking overall. Halo4's campaign/single-player needed alot more work, it wasn't on a par with bungie and certainly not bungie's best Personally, I'm not much of a multiplayer fan anyway, I prefer the halo campaigns, but generally in gameplay terms (and technically, following the MCC collection's online fiasco), 343 have alot to prove I hope they've pulled it off

Now is the worst time to look it up though. People got to play early supposedly and are spoiling the end. Bungie's good at some things and bad at others. Current bungie, I really.....really don't like. As far as mcc, it sure was a fiasco. It was also outscourced to 5 outside gaming studios though. So 5 studios working on the various game engines
basically each studio had a game..it just sounds like so much went wrong and was overshot at first
, multiplayers, across from xbox original to xbox 360 ported onto the xbox one
first time in console history mind you, on a new console
, rushed by Microsoft and 343 there at the end to basically splice them all together in the interface. Sounds like a definite fiasco. It works now tho, but I hear ya. I was pissed as hell at first too. Halo 5 is a single game developed by 343i from the ground up for the xbox one. It's impossible to have an outcome like mcc, the beta even ran smoother than that
as bad as it sounds for mcc
. Of course, there's always room for some stability issues though. Both campaign and multiplayer look awesome for h5. I as well hope they pull it off.

Edited by MightyJonE: 10/14/2015 3:28:25 AMYes, if there's one thing you can't really fault 343 on, it's the graphics. The campaign footage looked good, though what I saw seemed abit COD-influenced to me - I'm thinking of the way you're working with a team, being led thru set-piece events. That feels tired to me But hopefully the campaign as a whole will be substantial, solid and interesting Yes, bungie weren't always consistent back then, and they're certainly not the same developer anymore, but the halo4 campaign was.....awful, really. Dull, tedious, messy. I'm actually playing some of it again now after all these years, and it's worse than I remember - it's aged badly

I hear ya man. It's not the first time I've seen such opinion regarding h4s campaign as well as h5s. I couldn't really say though for h5. I've never played a cod campaign and generally just really dislike cods gameplay. I am excited tho to co op the campaign with my brother. I'm actually looking forwars to playing as the other characters as well. We'll see how it goes man, and hopefully you like what you play.

I've only played modern warfare 1 & 2 start to finish. I played bits of other COD games, but I'd lose interest after a few hours - I'm talking single player only here. But the original modern warfare was excellent, literally a game-changer at the time
