They nerfed my Spindle, acquired at the kiosk and infused to 310 with the help of two 310 exotic specials (engrams) back to 290. Seriously, what the FAQ?

Edited by Hames: 10/13/2015 8:44:48 PMIt was a Black Spindle, correct? They said they were going to reduce it to regular Year 2 exotic attack levels, correct? Don't regular exotics start at 280 (not 300) when they're acquired from blueprints? I fail to see the problem here.
-
Even if I acquire a 280 Spindle and infuse 2 exotic 310 weapons, it should be around 300.
-
Ok, fair point, but the original point of my message is still valid: the kiosk version was still higher than normal attack values and thus was nerfed like they said it would be. People should not be so surprised by this, it was clear from the beginning.
-
But they not only nerfed the kiosk and dropped ones. They nerfed them cross board, which is plain dumb.
-
Clumsy fix perhaps, but they warned you that Black Spindle would be nerfed 20 points, right? What's the issue then? That's exactly what happened.
-
Actually if im not mistaken mine went down to a 290
-
Regardless, the complaint that "I got mine from the kiosk, why did it get nerfed?" isn't valid because it was still at a higher level than normal. Logic and simple reasoning skills would dictate that kiosk copies would be nerfed downwards as well.
-
Sorry you can't use basic reasoning skills.
-
My first Spindle went right into my stillpiercer. No reason here to be cocky, kid.
-
Who's being cocky? The vendor spindles were selling at 300, which was still higher than the intended LL for the Black Spindle received for completing the mission. All other exotics sell at 280 in the vendor, so why would this be any different?

If you infuse one 310 exotic into an 280 exotic, you end up with a 301 exotic. Put another 310 in it, you get 307 exotic. Sorry dude, I never understood that kind of selfentitlement. It's awful here at the bungie forums.
