Morning Bungie,
I have seen the tweet from Cozmo regarding that all Spindles will be toned down to 290.
Whilst I do not agree with this decision seeing as there is currently many 310 special's out there Legendary and Exotic (Not counting spindle) and the fact that acquiring the spindle is actually rather challenging, I really like the way how this weapon is acquired (Skill + Teamwork), I just wanted to gain concrete clarification that the 310 spindles will 100% be toned down to 290 attack.
The reason I ask is that this is my favorite weapon and my only 310 special currently and I'm rather afraid of infusing this with another special weapon in case the Dev's see logic and decide not to go ahead with the 310 -> 290 attack change and I've already gone ahead with infusing my beloved spindle.
If this change is going ahead would you be able to advise roughly when so that I do not miss the Infusion opportunity?
Cheers,
Matt.

Edited by Ray z Ray: 10/12/2015 9:32:49 PMThe problem that Bungie faces now is not the Spindle itself rather that people who got the 310 spindle have access to the blue print and those that have a ton of exotic shards can purchase another Spindle from the Blue Print Kiosk and then infuse it into any Legendary Gun and increase every gun they own this way past the 300 damage rating. It's the worst case scenario regarding the Black Spindle at 310 and not the Black Spindle itself. I already seen people running around with a vendor bought Purple Engram / SUROS that is light level 308 and does more damage than any of my Exotics. This exploit comes at a cost of Exoctic Shards, but some people from Year One have 100's of these shards just waiting to be used. So basically it's a Instant 300+ damage on every gun engram that drops.
