Psion Flayer Mantle & Rngsus
I really don't know If there are any particulars that can be shared to help me get this cape, but I really want it, any color, just damn.
I guess im looking for peace of mind more or less because i heard it drops most from the heroic 260 strike playlist and the strike pops up most in 36 playlist.
Ive grinded out 20's to a pulp and have run it literally 50+ times
Edit: i appreciate you guys telling me tk do the nightfall for the week of 10/20/15, but ive had a psion flayer mantle about a week after I made the post originally(10/8/15).

I realize the game is called Destiny because it is my destiny to never acquire and of the 3 flayer mantles. I've been trying everything since the beginning of the launch, as soon as I found out about the capes. Lvl 20, Lvl 36, heroic. Nothing works for me. I've tried as all 3 classes. Still nothing. I haven't stopped doing strikes it's literally all I do. I don't even get any of the exclusive shaders or emblems or ships. I only get the titan gear, and maybe a gun. I haven't played year two pvp, iron banner, trials. I haven't even played the raid. All I won't is one flayer mantle. I don't care which. And I can't get it. So done with this game. Total waste of time. Good luck. But if RNG wills that you get nothing, nothing you shall get.

It dropped for me on the NF and I was on my titan.... completely random. You just have to keep at it and it will eventually drop.

I got the void on heroic, probably 5th time I came across the strike. If it helps I specifically told my friend i wanted the purple one to match my gravtion forfeit helmet, and boom, the sucker drops

try farming NF, and do your first three heroics as well. I scored one last night while my two buddies scored three Treads Upon Stars between them during our three runs last night. i also scored a Devouring Maw that first week the SABER strike was NF, and last week scored a Taniks cloak from the first Heroic i ran for the week. there's something about the NF and those first three heroics of the week that's like magic or something lol.

Got two..Void and Solar. Got the Void one from 36 Vanguard...Solar dropped this week in the NF.

Do the nightfall over and over, it's super easy this week and since legendary engrams have been taken out of the bosses loot table the chances for the mantles and tread upon stars have gone up. I have run many heroics since the ttk dropped and never received a treads upon stars and after doing 9 nightfalls I walked away with 3 treads and the solar flayer mantle. In fact when the mantle dropped it dropped for my whole fireteam and my buddy also got the arc mantle in one of those runs as well as a couple treads upon stars.

I finally got the void one to drop Friday from the 36 strike playlist after spending a lot of time in there since TTK came out. Two days later, two arc ones dropped in the same day. When it rains it pours I guess. Just keep trying and they will drop eventually. Now I need Taniks cloak and any of the warlock gear to drop. Already gotten several of the weapons and all of the Titan strike exclusive armour.

Got the solar one last night during the nightfall. Try not grinding for it, it will burn you out. Try a couple times a week.

I ran it 50+ times with no luck, gave up then tried the nightfall this week, which is dust palace, and got the void one!

All I know is that the higher the level, the higher chance of a strike specific drop
