I thought the character data was stored server side? Man that sucks if it's not the case.
If it's so many people here are willing to help you get your character back up to speed. Best of lucK!

If they are stored server side that would be amazing. Do you know if there's a solid answer for that?

I read for the PS4 you can access your characters from any system by logging into your account, so I would imagine it is the same for PS3, especially considering storage and processing power are greatly limited compared to the PS4. I think your characters are gonna be OK.

Phew. Okay. Well. It might be time to upgrade to a ps4

I was thinking the same thing when TTK came out, but this is the only console game I play, so I think I'd rather replace my laptop with an even more powerful desktop for the time being. No Man's Sky was the biggest PS4 selling point for me but it's coming out on PC, so I sorta don't need it for anything ya know?

I see what you mean. I can't wait for no mans sky to come out. It's looks like something I might even spend more time on than destiny. XD

When that game eventually comes out I will likely be finished with Destiny :) Recent frustrations with Destiny had me considering going back to Terraria or Skyrim as my main jam since it's become quite difficult to find people for the Destiny stuff that requires other people (I suspect a lot of people had the same idea I did and upgraded to PS4 for TTK). I got brought into this group to help keep the wheels turning though and am pretty happy with the people we have here so I'll probably be around for a while still. :3

That's good to hear. I'm still debating if the new battlefront is going to be worth it. I still can't get over that it doesn't have space battles and GC. But hey, there probably will be DLC's. I have developed a respect for destiny. From the fumbling beginning to what it's become. I really wish there was more single player content. But hey, that's just me.

Definitely not just you! I especially don't love stuff like the end of the sleeper simulant quest - or the exotic swords - where you have to find multiple people willing to spend time running something difficult that doesn't benefit them in any way.
