Who took the bait and who didn't wait? Also, who do we appreciate?

fair enough. just saying it stings like a bitch, and I can see why some people are salty

We can all agree people are frustrated and it shouldn't kill us to be sensitive to that. And at the same time we know what happened here. Good-intentioned people getting hopes up in an age where Destiny has gripped us harder than it ever has before (thanks to TTK release). When we want more we will go to the end for it. Perhaps the lesson learned is: Destiny is fun, and thats the only promise we should expect from it.

very true. the thing that rubs me the wrong way is that they could have just dropped a hint to stop. they did with the basketball court of Oryx

Edited by XtraLifex2: 10/8/2015 8:47:17 AMI can see that point of view. The way I see it is that Bungie doesn't hold responsibility for communities who want to go deeper in to the game and draw conclusions from tidbits that may or may not have even been in reference to anything like the SS (or anything specific) in the first place. Bungie is cryptic most of the time anyway so once assumptions are made by people its now on the people for taking something unclear further down dangerously assumptive rabbit holes. So the smart thing for Bungie to do was keep silent and avoid that can of worms and let the community work it out on their own since people fostered it in the first place. Which is what the conversation you and I (and most of the Destiny community) are having is all about: Venting then moving on, to bigger better things in the Destiny Universe! :)
