You mean those relics that nearly everyone had in the first 3 days of gameplay?
If that was all it took, WHY did they hype this thing up as a huge mystery that needed to be unlocked through a series of hidden events? Why lead us through all of that if it wasn't necessary??

They never did that, they literally said ''Collect relics of the golden age across various locations in Destiny.''
-
>relics of the golden age >DVALIN fusion rifle says they're dark age relics GG guys

Quote from Game Informer.
players first have to collect relics of the Golden Age which have been scattered across the various locations of Destiny. After players bring these pieces back to Banshee-44 (the Tower's gunsmith), the ancient artifacts trigger a memory in the ancient Exo gunsmith, and he will invite players on an odyssey to repair and reactivate one of the Taken King's most striking exotic
Golden Age and Dark Age relics are literally the same thing.

And also "Even the initial acquisition of the quest line comes from a clue you find hidden somewhere in the Destiny universe" I don't think a random drop can be considered a "hidden clue"
-
Doesn't that relate to Rasputin though?
-
Not sure what you're saying? The questline was acquired by finding the first DVALIN relic.
-
How do you know that?
-
Fair point. I haven't collected anything else though, and I'm not being snide, but have you? In addition, I've only collected them on my main and it's the only one with access to TFF

I play too much, got all of them in 3 days.
