If you're not good enough to complete the quest, then you don't deserve the rewards.

So your suggestion is to just give up? You don't think there's ANYTHING in this game that could be reworked AT ALL to make it a better experience for everyone?

[quote]So your suggestion is to just give up? Since you are unable to complete this quest, you feel that you are entitled an easier way to complete it. I disagree with this. If you want the gun, just practice and get better. If you don't enjoy crucible, well you're out of luck.

My point was that Bungie made and still makes a big deal about there being choices in this game, and yet we're being shoehorned into the crucible for some of these quests. I trudged through the Thorn bounty and got it done. I changed up my gameplay tactics to give myself the best chance of succeeding, but it was still several hours of hell and it's not something I look forward to doing again. My intent was not to come across as entitled. Rather, it was to be an advocate for people actually having a choice in how they complete the quests without being forced into game modes they don't enjoy. And I thought I did a pretty good job of acknowledging that the people who enjoy the Crucible are losing out with this as well, because they are going to get matched up with teammates who don't care about playing the objective, and contribute nothing to their team while trying to fulfill the requirements for the quest.
