Works like 3 of coins but instead of increasing [u]exotic[/u] engram chance it increases the chance that a [u]boss specific legendary[/u] engram will drop (Darkblade Helm, Imago Loop etc) Doesn't guarantee good rolls tho... Don't worry bungie the grind will still be there!
