This all started with Shield Bros. I made it a Raid. Everyone loved it, and wanted me to do this, so here it is (Part 2 will be in URL.)
Bane of the Emperor: Cabal Raid
Location: Firebase Thuria, Phobos
Description: "Glory to the Empire."
Part 1: Into the Fire
Players spawn on Phobos, Mars's closest moon, in front of the gate to a Cabal Firebase. They are prompted to open the gate, but a Goliath Tank appears behind them. That is announced in the killfeed as "A Goliath makes itself known..." But when it is defeated, it does not explode, instead going idle. A Centurion named "Val Du'urog" climbs out of it, and fights. When he is defeated, one player must get into the Tank. When they do, they can only control the cannon, but nothing else. They must fire at specific parts of the gate which are keeping it locked. When that is done, the gate will open, and players step into Firebase Thuria.
Part 2: Cut the Wings
Players must maneuver their way through the base's many halls, while dealing with Cabal. Eventually, they reach a hangar, where a massive Cabal ship is idling. Suddenly, it takes off, and hovers in place. It is revealed to be a "Phoenix Assault Ship." On the feed, an announcement says "The Phoenix enshrouds itself..." The Ship creates a shield, and then drops off Cabal on the deck. The only way to take down the shield is with turrets placed nearby. Once the shield is taken down, the feed says "The Phoenix is exposed." Now players must focus as much fire as they can on the engines of the ship until the shields regenerate. This process is repeated a few times, until the ship is taken down, and explodes. Players move on.
Part 3: Imperial Shield
After walking through more halls, and fighting more Cabal, players reach a room that is big, and somewhat empty except for boxes and crates. On the opposite side of the room is an elevator. The door to the elevator opens, and out steps a Phalanx named "Imperial Shield." He only has his shield equipped. In the feed, a message says "The Shield summons a Flayer." At that moment, a Psion Flayer appears from a side door, with other Psions defending it. However the elemental type the Flayer uses is randomly selected. If the Flayer is Solar, the Imperial Shield will generate a Solar shield around itself, and fire a laser out of his physical shield which would be Solar. If it's a Void Flayer, it would be Void shield, and Void laser. Arc Flayer would mean Arc shield and laser. The only way to hurt Imperial Shield is to kill the Flayer, and the only weapons that hurt the Flayer are weapons with the same elemental damage type. Once the Flayer is killed, a message in the feed will say "The Shield has shattered." Imperial Shield can now be hurt, but he will still attempt to charge at players, and melee them. After a few seconds or so, "The Shield summons a Flayer" appears in the feed, and another Psion Flayer with a different random element appears. But during this process, each element the Flayers would supply to Imperial Shield would help out Shield in some way. Solar would have increased mobility, Void increased attack, and Arc would heal both Shield and the corresponding Flayer whenever a player died. Flayers would heal completely, while Shield would only receive about 1/8 of his health back. Eventually, Shield is defeated, and he drops his physical shield. One player picks it up as a relic, and they all gain entrance to the elevator, which takes them up.
This is just the 1st half, as I couldn't fit the whole thing in one post. 2nd half will be in a link.
