Cheat in Dreadnaught

So I was exploring Dreadnaught on the patrol mission and I came across a chest. However, when I get close to it I take damage. Also, it ipens very slowly. How do I open the chest before I die?

Easy way is run in die at chest get friend to run in revive you and and open it and then revive him and open it
