You should plan ahead with your Shadowshot and shoot it along a wall or the ground which the Sunbreaker will come by. It takes a bit for the first tethers to happen if you directly shoot a target, but if you place it like a trap you'll see much better success with it against other mobile Supers.

See, I agree. But my Super also makes a noticeable sound. And Titan gliding can go really damn fast. If I had placed it behind the corner, the dude could've turned it and would've been okay. If I had placed it in front of it, he would've had to sit back, blow up the Tether, then advance. Besides, his primary goal was to grab the Heavy Ammo, not go on a Hammer spree. I understand the value in setting a trap, and I would've, but I needed a little more information sooner.

Use the perk that lets it stick to the wall so You can set traps

Or maybe you don't know a Sunbreaker is walking through that corner and so you can't set an elaborate trap.

Edited by Erijian: 10/2/2015 11:35:09 PMBecause there isn't a completely obvious sound of a Sunbreaker activating his/her Super? In the Video OP posted, it was blatantly obvious the Sunbreaker was going to push from around the corner (He even knew so and prepared for it) but waited until he actually SAW him to use his Super. He used it too late, it's his fault. There will be scenarios where you can't predict one is coming around, but in regards to the video he should've played better.

It was a direct hit timed perfectly and the Titan was not suppressed until well after he was hit and killed his attacker. A direct hit like that should be instant shutdown. How instantaneous is that Titan Suppression grenade in the void class?
-
Instantaneous, but glitches out 90% of the time against Bladedancers and Sunbreakers.
-
Couldn't that be said for the hunter's super as well? If I can hear the hunter's super I could just as easily change course and not walk into a trap. Or just stand still an throw hammers. If you get hit straight on with a super it should take you immediately out of your super if not kill you. Their shouldn't be a delayed effect.

His fault for directly hitting the enemy with his super BEFORE the enemy could hit him with his... yet he STILL was the one who dies? Not to mention the fact that the HoS super IS an instantaneous kill when the hammer hits directly.. why should the Nightstalker Bow not also be instantaneous? That whole subclass is a joke it is so OP.

Ah I understand your complain about the video and the OP should have prepared. I'm just saying in the majority of situations you will not be in range to hear the activation noise before your see the Titan. In fact the normality would be that you find the Titan mid-super without knowing you were there.
