no, not really.
i mean think about it.
black spindle is one of the hardest hitting weapons in the game (because it hit hard and sniper precision modifer is quite high) if you gave it endless ammo (which is what the old perk did) it would wreck ANY enemy with a large enough precision weak spot. which would destroy pve balance, (serisouly, they would be required to remove precision spots from bosses)
Most enemies have smaller precisions to hit and maybe the person using it isn't too good and they miss also it's an exotic so your taking up a good spot
bosses are generally stationary, they have a -blam!- huge precision hit spot, and if someone can't reliably hit a bosses precision hit spot, then they shouldn't be playing first person shooters (again, stationary+giant crit spot+ black spindle=dead bosses)
ogre are also a valid choice for black spindle,
all that said, YES black spindle is worth it's exotic slot(eve post nerf), hell black hammer should've been a exotic from the get go (they seriously underestimated how powerful white nail is)
This is exactly what I have been telling people. The gun is garbage. Without the old perk it is horrible. Why use an exotic slot on a gun that was a legendary? It's just stupid.
