In the attached video they use the strategy to where they take down only one orb per wave and put in some serious DPS! Is this ideal?! Or do you feel the strategy where they shoot down all 6 is key?!?
I really want to discuss the fastest and most ideal strategies so can beat this raid QUICKLY!

3 Replies1 Gaze

1 Reply1 gaze 5 DPS seems best for LFG/PUGs and such.
-
4 RepliesThe best strategy is to
Die
-
1 Reply1 person doing gaze.
-
2 RepliesWe run the 3 left orbs instead of all 6. Makes the fight super easy.
-
1 Reply1 gazer by the front door 1 on right back 1. Back gazer gets attention. 2. Everyone take the first orb down. 3. Front gazer takes the gaze as soon as the back opens. 4. Everyone will be standing in the first orb by the time it turns around. 5. One person will be on add duty. 6. 5 seconds to go back gazer takes gaze. 7. Everyone but gazer shoot left front orb. 8. Front gazer mover slightly left and takes gaze immediately back. 9. 5 seconds to go back gazer takes the gaze. 10. Everyone in pool shoot middle lest orb. 11. Front gazer will take it back immediately. 12. When the timer gets to 5 tell everyone to get out. 13. Repeat. Best gun for shooting the over orbs is an auto in my opinion. I will try to post a video next time I do it.

When I did it we did one orb and we only had one wipe. We went into the pit 4 times and ended with 2 deaths total.

1 Reply1 orb just takes so damn long lol my team always does front left, front right, middle left, middle right and then gets out. You use each puddle to its max and only need to go in the pit twice.
-
8 Replies1 orb is practically a cheese and I would bet unusable during hard raid. So I stick to the way the fight was designed :P

1 ReplyFront two orbs
-
1 ReplyMe and my group do the front two orbs. Pretty easy
-
1 ReplyTake the six. It's fun and really not that hard when your working with good fireteams.
-
1 ReplyAlways all 6. It's easy anyway I don't get why you'd do one at a time
-
Two people take turns with gaze and orbs. Whichever person doesn't have gaze takes down the orb closest to them (two clips) and grabs gaze - should be 5 seconds to grab gaze. Rotate back and forth up and down each side. One orbs seems easier and faster. Orrrr do corners. Four orbs let it fail and reset.

Me and my team do 6 orbs but if in a party of ransoms we do 1 as its a bit easier with communication and leaves more room for error, we did golgoroth first try last night and killed him on the 6th orb on the first run, all had black spindle and machine guns, we tore through him
-
5 RepliesI have done both. 1 orb per wave is easier 100% of the time because of the reduced communication needed. Doing this method we can kill him first try every time now. We used to struggle for hours before.
-
4 RepliesWe did it pretty quickly in one run doing 3 at a time.
-
1 Replyneed 4 for daughters of orix never done it before but should be ok. ps3 psn johnnypreston12

1 ReplyOur party has tried taking out all six as well as just doing one orb. We all agreed that using just one orb was much more simple as well as ability of having five people in the pit with black spindle/snipers.

1 ReplyI need help man can't find a team have the checkpoint I'm on xbox360 298 and I know what to do Borta Senglece
-
1 ReplyDid it with randoms yesterday after being stuck for a week on that part. We just did the one orb strategy and when everyone had what they needed to do done we beat it fairly easy. Good communication is the key and high impact snipers.

One orb seems best... I see the orb order get messed up too much otherwise or sometimes one guy starts to have issues with golgoroths bombs towards the end of a rotation.., and my favorite is when someone fails to kill an add and a cursed gets through.. both take on time coordination still bit one orb feels safer
