"Aaand here we are!" The Hunter said as the elevator door opened. Rush stepped out, as the Hunter led him and his Fireteam to their home. Rather than the door opening automatically, like the other doors in the home would, this one seemed jammed.
"Woah, hold up..." The Hunter said as he pulled onto the side of the door, opening it manually. "Ooookay, there we go!" Leaning against the side, the Hunter chuckles smugly. "This is where it all happens, Rookie..."
"Rookie?" Rush said, sounding rather offended. He definitely wasn't new to this whole thing, why was this Hunter treating him like he was? Suddenly, Rush felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't let him get to you... He's just like that..." The Warlock said, gently removing her hand from his shoulder. Rush nodded, as he entered the home, the others not too far behind him.
"I'll make some cake!" The Titan randomly said as he bounded off into the kitchen. The Hunter smirked behind his helmet, about to turn around to let Rush get situated, but he bumps right into the Warlock.
"Oof!" Both the Hunter and Warlock said as they bumped into each other. The Hunter suddenly found himself bumbling. "O-oh, I was going to..."
"Y-yes... I know." The Warlock nervously nodded. There was so much thick air between her and the Hunter you could cut it with a knife.
"Maybe you should...?" The Hunter implied.
"I-I'll do exactly that..." The Warlock nodded once again. Both the Warlock and Hunter nervously laughed as they passed each other. Although the both of them didn't completely finish what they were going to say. The Warlock knew the Hunter was asking if she could show Rush around.
Rush observed the entire thing and addressed the Warlock when she approached him. "What was that all about...?" Rush asked, confused. The Warlock shook her head, sighing.
"Nevermind it... It's just something that shall work itself out." The Warlock said, obviously dismissing Rush's question. She really didn't want to get into it. And letting a stranger in on what was going on didn't make her feel any more comfortable about talking about it.

"These are the bathrooms."
"This is the halls to our rooms if you need us."
"This is where you'll be sleeping." The Warlock said, finally finishing listing all the places in the house as she opened a guest bedroom. It was pretty generic for a guest room. It had its own bathroom, a television, and a large double window with a snazzy view of the city.
"Woah..." Rush whispered to himself as he looked around the room. "This is nice..." He said, looking at the Warlock. "Thanks..." This made him feel the slightest bit better.
"You're welcome." The Warlock replied about to leave, but then she turned back around to face him. "One more thing..." The Warlock began. "I do strive to keep a clean home," the Warlock explained, "So please, keep your station clean. OR I WILL KILL YOU!" She suddenly snapped as she pointed a finger upwards at him. Rush raised his hands up defensively, obviously signalling that he wanted no trouble whatsoever. And the door closing behind her, the Warlock left.
"...Wow." Was all Rush had to say...
Suddenly, the door opened again, and the Titan walked in holding a large bowl.
"Hey! Until the cake is done, I brought us some nacho cheese chips!" The Titan said, happily. "Oh, thanks." Rush said, expecting the Titan to set down the bowl so the both of them could eat... But the Titan continued talking while he held the bowl.
"I only ate a few of 'em!"
"Okay, that's alright." Rush nodded.
The Titan wasn't finished... "...Half of 'em."
"Uhh... That's fine, too." Rush said. Dang, this Titan was gluttonous...
The Titan couldn't help but snicker as he flipped the bowl upside down, and rather than chips falls out of the bowl, only crumbs fell. "Pfffffft-- I ate all of 'em, dude! I'm so-- I'm so sorry!" The Titan tried to hold down his laughter. Rush, however, wasn't amused.

The Hunter was going through his wardrobe, looking for the perfect cloak to wear. Obviously pleased with how he looks in everything, he couldn't help but chuckle.
"Hehe, man, I look good in everything!" He said, admiring himself in his mirror. But then suddenly he hears a voice...
"Hunter...?" The Warlock gently called him, standing at the entrance of his room as she fiddled with her fingers.
"GUH!" The Hunter jumped when he heard the Warlock, and whipped around to look at her. "Haha, heeeeeeeyy," the Hunter greeted, laughing weakly, "I...I didn't see you there..." He definitely felt awkward. How long was the Warlock standing there?
"I just wanted to say..." The Warlock and Hunter both began at the same time. "O-oh, I apologize" The Warlock apologized. "You go first..."
The Hunter shook his head, "N-no, you should definitely go first!" The Warlock sighed quietly, this was so awkward. Why could this be easier?! "I just wanted to say..." The Warlock began. "That..." Still, it was hard to get the words that she wanted to say, out. "That... We should take Rush to Venus with us!" She blurted, completely diverting from what she intentionally wanted to say.
The Hunter blinked, confused, yet a little disappointed that that's what she wanted to tell him. "Venus...?" He said, having a seat on his swivel chair near his desk.
The Warlock nodded, laughing nervously. "Y-yes, Venus! I-Ikora Rey requested that we take care of something there..." She lied, blushing a faint blue under her helmet. She felt like a lying fool.
"Oh... Okay..." The Hunter nodded slowly. "Sure, we'll go tomorrow, then."
"G-great..." The Warlock said, turning around to leave, and just as she's about to leave the room, the Hunter called out to her.
"''Lock, wait..." He said, getting up from his chair. The Warlock turned around, slightly curious. "Yes... What is it...?"
"Uhh..." The Hunter said blankly, he knew what he was intentionally going to say was going to be stupid, so he decided to lie. "I just wanted to say... Uh, make sure you bring plenty of food for the Big Guy! Heh, you know how he gets..."
The Warlock blinked, rather disappointed, but she nods anyway. "O-oh, right. Okay... Well, good night..." She said, waving to him as she left his room.
"Hehe... Byeeeeeee...." The Hunter said, waving back slowly. When she finally left, he slumped back into his chair and facepalmed.
"I'm so flippin' STUPID!"
"I'm such a fool..." The Warlock sighed, facepalming as she walked through the halls into her own room.

"So yeah... That's what happened..." The Titan finished, sitting on the guest bed with Rush, still holding the empty chip bowl.
"Gosh, that is awkward..." Rush remarked, nodding intently. The Titan nodded once.
"It'll all work out soon enough though, don't worry!" The Titan optimistically stated. Rush couldn't help but let out a huff of amusement, this was the most optimistic Titan he'd ever seen. What made him so happy?
"Ehh, can I ask you something... Er, Titan?" Rush asked, clasping his hands together. "Yeah?" The Titan said, awaiting Rush's question. Rush twiddled his thumbs, looking down for a brief moment before looking back at the Titan.
"How do you... Stay happy? I mean... Something happened to me, not too long ago..." Rush abruptly stopped, trying to keep his voice from breaking as he remembered a sad memory. One that he'd rather not repeat.
The Titan understood. Not wanting to press Rush to go on, he started to speak. "I just look on the brighter side of life, I guess. There's always something to smile about, even if life doesn't show it at the time. You just got to keep going, you know? Not that I remember much to be upset about in the first place..."
Rush smiled as the Titan explained why he was so positive, but then blinked when the Titan vaguely says he didn't remember much to begin with. What did he mean by that? "Thanks Titan..." Rush thanked, smiling warmly.
"No problem, friend." The Titan said, setting the bowl to the side and encasing Rush in a bear hug.
"Mngh!" Rush grunted as the Titan started to hug... squeeze him.
