I agree. Fist of Havoc, and Nova Bomb. Those two only work to their fullest when the enemy team is bunched together, which occurs once in a blue moon. Super mechanics for those two need a revamp. I think that all supers should activate with a timer like Bladedancer, Sunbreaker, Stormcaller, etc. So Fist of Havoc users should have more than one fist to slam, and Nova Bomb users more Nova Bomb's (maybe smaller ones too). Gunslinger on the other hand needs a few more shots to put it on equal terms with Sunbreakers. And Sunsingers need to have their grenades 1 hit kill when in super. (Just hypothetical suggestions) Obviously there would be a lot of balancing to be done, but I think having all supers on a draining super bar timers would make them all fun to use.

  • Actually as a Hunter I'm seeing the advantage of having a near instant super. Golden gun has a loud, disorienting activation where your arm obstructs your view. You basically have to use it behind cover. Compare that to shadowshot, where you can react instantly to say a sumbreaker activation, and kill them before they realize what just happened. Smaller kill potential, but because you can hold it until the moment you need it, you can maximize its value in countering other supers, and or minimize risk.

  • Fist has still its uses in Trials of Big O to counter other supers. I think nova bomb can do that too since you also have the blink. In other gamemodes I however see no reason to use anything else than Shocklock or Titan of Sol.

  • That's way too specific of a situation, considering that the timed supers can activate whenever it's convenient. Not really fair, you know?

  • You could just learn the times of heavy spawns for the game mode you are playing, make sure to build your super up before that time, and kill them with super. It is just a timing thing.

  • That's not what I mean. What I meant is that it's not really fair for Nova bomb to be at its most usefulness when heavy ammo drops, whereas other supers (Fist of Havoc exempt) can be used whenever and still reach peak usefulness.

  • I guess it depends on the game mode. In control you are going to have more multi kills with a FoH and NB, but I see what you're saying.

  • I think it could be investing if they made "fist of havoc" give your melees a blade dancer damage buff (which used to be a 1hk) including the actual ability. Void callers could get 3 projectiles that you can target players with individually using the melee. No AOE damage but dead single target, or it could use the whole super energy and do a big nova bomb. At least imo, it would help to keep these builds popular

  • Yeah something like that is what I imagine, although Nova bombs should keep their AOE regardless, considering Hammer of Sol has AOE by default.
