So you have to grab the 45 fragments before eris will give u the quest? I turned in the hadium flakes and weapon parts but didn't get a quest after.

No. She will give it to you.

That sucks. After I turned the first part in she didn't give me another step or anything in my quest menu

Me either. Then I went back to orbit and played court and when I got back it was there. You may need a certain amount of fragments to get her to give you the quest. I only had 21. Went looking for more, got up to 33 and she had it for me.
