I have a few questions on the looting system of this game
1) Is it normal not to loot any gear and/or weapon despite completing the whole raid and having 20 shards in inventory taken away? Are you seriously expecting people to be happy to play the game when they loot a color and an emblem? Are we supposed to throw them at Oryx?
2) Is it normal that the players who jump in a fireteam at the boss get all the gears and weapons despite holding less than 20 shards? Wasn't the broken time-to-kill looting system improved?
3) when you don't loot anything, what incentive do you get from boring cyclotomic activities?
4) Is this really a community game? If so why does the looting system promotes individualist gaming?

2 RepliesI can only answer 3, the only reason to do oryx and not get loot is for the touch of malice. since most of the bosses are somewhat challenging, the incentives should be personal gain and fun, with loot just being extra. my friends didn't receive any loot all raid except the class item (we went from the beginning through the death sisters), and they were still having a blast.
