So I was bored waiting for friends to get food. So I began to pester the lone Captain testing just how aware they really are. It would seem to me they have set parameters on how they act and are definitely line of sight. You can see just how far out of view you can go to avoid them. Interesting results as the AI magically cant just see you as it seems they often do. I also have a AI targeting test coming as well but want to get more then just the 30 second clip of examples.
