To those saying I can't, there must be a way. Otherwise I haven't got the product that that was advertised and I paid for, something the consumer affairs agencies tend to frown on. Unless Bungie are offering refunds to those who've been screwed which seems unlikely.

You are correct that it breaches several consumer laws when a company devalues a purchase after the fact. However they can get around it by arguing they replaced the content with other content of equal value. If you feel like you have been ripped off I would recommend contacting your relevant consumer authority and avoid the forums regarding this topic or you may find yourself drowning in white knights.
