Unfortunately, Bungie will not be retroactively applying marks to those who completed the quest prior to the patch. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Not the end of the world. Thanks for even shining some light on the question.

Unfortunately, Bungie needs to own up to their mistake and pay-out for the effort of the players. Unfortunately, not doing so simply isn't good enough. Unfortunately, many of us are getting sick and tired of this happening. We do the work, the reward system is bugged and doesn't pay-out, it gets patched later and those who did the work and cannot go back to get the reward are out of luck. Unfortunately, this is getting tiresome and they need to retroactively apply the marks owed to the accounts that have completed it. I don't care what their excuse is as we all know it boils down to "Too many accounts were affected and we don't want to go back and fix our mistake with them." Unfortunately, they need to own up and pay-out.

Edited by Quad_G_Moto: 9/24/2015 10:15:37 PMI finished it last night. So far I've only received 43 Legendary Marks total because I've been focused on leveling up and expecting Quests to give Marks.. It REALLY hurts that I didn't get those. C'mon Bungie, didn't you learn anything from the Rahool the Tool fiasco? At the very least you should give everyone another chance to run it again!

I agree, it's not like the marks lost were so significant that we can not continue BUT if Bungie knew people didn't get them then they also know who we are. Or like a precious post said "open up the quest line for us again". You would almost think that this is real currency, taking the time to patch this issue but not fix those that were screwed over certainly does not seem fair
