The mission too get it is a mess. A bullet sponge boss, that spams blinding waves and a crazy amount of adds. The only way we got through it was camping at the entrance and quickly peeking out too shoot. No fun to be had there at all.
We suffered through it (failing 3 times), because we heard we'd get a sniper at 310 light, that would be awesome for the raid. That's the reason we chose too spend our time on this mission instead of starting a raid. If we knew it would go down too a light level lower than our current legendary snipers, we would not have wasted our time on it honestly.
Bungie, i get that it might have been a mistake, but please reconsider the approach on this. Everyone makes some mistakes, but please be big enough too own them. The gun dropping was your mistake, not that of any of the players working for it yesterday. By reducing those guns light level, you're putting the pain of that mistake on the players instead of owning your mistake.
A lot of people that went in too that mission yesterday, did so because of a promised higher light level gun. Reducing that afterwards is a kick in the balls of anyone that put effort into it.
Please be big enough too own your mistakes, instead of punishing your players for them.
Ps. Yes i realise they won't actually read this lol.
