THE ATTACK VALUE DOESN'T MATTER!
IF YOU GET IT AT 290, JUST INFUSE IT.
YOU'RE NOT GETTING A 310 ATTACK SNIPER, YOU'RE GETTING A ENDLESS SHOOTING SNIPER. (AKA THE BLACK HAMMER)

Infuse your 310 black spindle with another sniper :)

Edited by Rikkom: 9/24/2015 8:47:27 AMIt is NOT endless shooting. It draws ammo from the reserves. Once you're out of ammo, it stops shooting. So yes, the damage matters. The higher it is, the more you'll do overall before you run out of ammo.
-
No. your light level calculates damage not your weapon level.
-
Light level of weapon matters when shooting an enemy , try using a y1 on the dreadnaught. Even if your overall is much higher than enemies you will do shit damage
-
Hmm that's odd. I was using my mida on the dreadnaught and after testing the damage was not that different. What weapon were you using?
-
i compared the y1 vs y2 suros with perks matched as exactly (other than the dmg value ups the old one had which shouldnt effect anything) Both have smart drift, focused fire, suro, and hammer forged perks y1 603/641 crit on red , 235 body on red enemy y2 1473 crit on red , 589 body on red enemy Which is about half the dmg 294 attack on the year 2 and 170 on the y1 Granted the y1 is workable i guess but no where close to the year 2 with everything identical but attack
-
What was your light levels using each weapon?
-
280 something and 290 something Neither should matter as both are above the recommended light of the area Light works only as a way to stop your stuff from being nerfed it never gives a bonus (hence why you do less against low levels like patrol earth and more against enemies in a higher area. Low light vs enemies and your weapons do less than 100% dmg , higher light and there weapons do less than 100% dmg . If attack didnt matter they wouldnt have it on weapons nor made year 2 versions , it does matter and i suggest you get a y1 and y2 version of something and try it . or try gally vs just a regular rocket laucher in a strike . If you want i could probably change armor so my lights exactly the same during it but it would make no difference as in either case im way above the recommended level and light. That said getting 5 more attack will not increase dmg vs a mob on dreadnaught if you already have enough. Instead 5 more or 10 more attack will let you do full damage against another enemy say a raid boss which or the new hm raid when it drops.

until you run out of ammo....
