Hello everyone, Recently I have been diving into the lore with a friend of mine Skittl3sWR8 (I owe him a lot of credit for this post as well) but anyway we got on the topic of strange coins. We all love em and hoard em in hopes Xur sells that's one last item we need for our collection. But have you ever stopped and wondered why Xur or the Nine really want these coins? It is understood that strange coins are pieces of vex technology. So the real question is why do the Nine want vex technology? Now keep that question in your head as we flip on over to a little refresher on how Skolas came to regain control of house of wolves. According to the grimoire Skolas was sent to the nine as a gift from our good friend the queen. Now upon arrival at the Nine he was released by our glorious tentacle face friend and given a ship now he comes back to earth starts a rebellion and goes nuts for vex tech. Full Blown Crazy style. So let's put two and two together and come up with a hypothesis. The same one that me and my friend came up with. The Nine want vex tech for some reason. So when Skolas arrives they see a perfect candidate to help in there plans to understand it or whatever that want to do so they release Skolas he heads back and starts his plans. Maybe planing to do what they say or maybe planning to betray them all along. Then Skolas sees the power of the vex tech wants it for himself and there you have it. He goes all vex power hungry or something I am interested to see what you guys think do you agree, disagree, or have a whole other hypothesis?
