Is it just me or does shadestep feel clunky and slow? I can't really explain it but there's something between the transition of going from first to third person and back again feels weird and it takes like 9 years for you to complete the animation, I suggest that if I were to sprint, activate shadestep I should be able to keep running, I also believe that it should be faster, don't get me wrong it has its moments but I believe there's no reason you should be running shadestep over keen scout

I mainly use it in pvp to pop out, take a shot and disappear back to cover before they have a chance to pop my skull open.

1 ReplyI never could use it to make it useful. Neither in PvE nor PvP. I recently even got shot even during the shadestep animation with a pump gun in Crucible. And in PvE they still hit me like hell, doesn't do anything useful. Am I doing something wrong? Why not make a real shadow step like disappearing and reappearing 2-3 meters further on?

2 RepliesI hate shade step. I can't teabag with it equipped.

Edited by 0Myre0: 10/13/2015 2:19:56 PMIt works fine for me, in pve, I use it to dodge shots(it works and has saved me countless times.) In pvp I use it to get behind cover or avoid instant sniper death upon respawn .

Tested out shade step in crucible, got behind the person some how they did a 360 instantly hit me with a melee

3 RepliesI think you should have damage resistance while rolling, or immunity like in dark souls.

Ive had several people use it against me in pvp and worked out quite well for them...i almost have mine unlocked and cant wait to test it out
