Hey guys! This is the Take I'm going to reveal the Warlock's gender on, after so long! Though, I decided to take a different writing approach with this one, as I'd like to be more descriptive, but it'll still be just as humorous!
I might go back and forth with writing styles, I don't know, I have fun with all of 'em!
Meet the Team... Fireteam
Warlock
"Pompous"
Hunter
"Ignoramus"
Titan
"Optimist Prime"
________
"You got this."
The Hunter told himself this, multiple times, as he stood in front of his room mirror that was stationed over his desk. His confidence wasn't helping him out this time, for some odd reason.
"You got this." He assured himself once again, as if he was giving himself moral support as he turned away from his mirror, heading towards his door which automatically opened for him. Today was the day. Today was the day he'd find out. This... This was something that had bothered him before, but not as much as when the Warlock took his shoulders that day...
"For sure... You're the man."

"Ah..." The Warlock remarked, as they read, intrigued by a revelation in their favorite book.
"I should've known..." They said, letting out a subtle chuckle, folding the top corner end of their book to save their page. Getting out of bed, the Warlock looked outside of their window, watching the Sun set. The Warlock found themselves starting to veer off into all sorts of random thoughts, as they looked at the blood red clouds.

"Hahaha!" The Titan heartily laughed as he read over an article from one of his data pads on the team's main couch. An arm behind one of the heads of the couch, he placed the data pad onto the table that stood in front of him.
"Mmmm..." He sighed happily, as he got up from the couch to take a long, happy stretch. Well, that was fun. But now he was bored. He looked around the room, rather desperate for something to do. "What to do... What to do..." He said to himself, continuing to look around. Video games were blah, there was nothing good to watch, and at this very moment he didn't feel like eating! And he loved eating, despite not being able to taste half the food that went inside of his complicated innards!

The Hunter stealthily crept through the halls of their home, looking for the Titan. Surely he'd be able to help him out, the Titan was always there when the Hunter needed him, and he'd be able to help now.
He finally reached the main living quarters of the Fireteam, not too long after. "Psst, 'ey..." He called out to the Titan, who was entertaining himself with old bits and bobbles in one of the team's many boxes.
The Titan turned his attention to the Hunter, setting down the paddle and ball he was hitting around. "Yeah?" He asked as he stood up. "What is it?"
The Hunter bit his bottom lip for a brief moment, debating in his head whether he should spill the beans to his teammate, and friend, or not. "Uh..." He didn't know where to start, there was so much he had to get off his chest. And then some.
The Titan had a seat back on the couch, patting his hand on an empty spot beside him, signaling that the Hunter should sit next to him. "Gehhh..." The Hunter scoffed, he didn't feel like getting all... ooey gooey, touchy, feelsy with the Titan, that just wasn't his style. But, he had to do what he had to do, right? He sat next to the Titan, hands clasped firmly together. He was definitely happy that he'd kept his helmet on, so that the Titan wouldn't see his blush of embarrassment.
"Look," the Hunter started, "Remember when the Warlock took my shoulders...?"
"Oh yeah." The Titan blinked, nodding as he reminisced about that whole thing. "That." He tilted his head, slightly curious. "What about it?"
"Well..." The Hunter began again, "Out of blatant curiosity, I'd just like to know... More, about the Warlock."
The Titan didn't reply, but he was rather confused. Why was this such a big issue now? Then, as if the Hunter already knew what the Titan was thinking, he unclasped his hands and raised them slightly yet defensively. "I was just wondering, okay?! I knew this was stupid..." He sighed, shaking his head slightly.
The Titan finally spoke. "Why do you want to know, really?" The Hunter's cheeks burned, why did the Titan need to know everything? He didn't blame him, though. This was a vague request. "I'll explain later," the Hunter said, standing up. "But I need you to keep the Warlock occupied, okay, dude?"
The Titan nodded. Occupation was the name of his game, he could totally pull this off!

Later on that night, the Warlock was preparing to retreat to their bed, until they noticed something strange. The Hunter wasn't bothering the Warlock, and that was his usual routine. "Hmm... Strange." The Warlock remarked, as they stopped themselves from fully getting on their bed. "What in the Traveler's Light is going on?"

The Hunter was gone, and the Titan was the only one awake now... or so he thought. "Okay, okay, gotta think of a diversion..." The Titan said to himself, pacing around the living quarters. However, he was interrupted when something taps his shoulder. "GAAH!" The Titan exclaimed as he jumped in surprise. Turning around, he saw it was merely the Warlock. Oh wait, that's bad. "Haha, hey Warlock! Wh-what's up?" The Titan laughed nervously, trying not to make it look so obvious that he was hiding something.
"Good evening, Titan." The Warlock said courteously. "Have you seen the Hunter? Is he still here...?" They asked, eyeing around the room.
"No, he's not here." The Titan said, shaking his head slightly. "He's just... Uhh..." He looked upwards, as if he was trying to grab the most appropriate lie out of the air to tell the Warlock. "Sparrow racing!" He said finally, looking back down at the Warlock. "Yeah, he's out Sparrow racing!"
The Warlock let out a tsk. The Hunter knew how much the Warlock didn't like him Sparrow racing, and it wasn't even legal! "Titan," the Warlock began, "Why didn't you stop him? You know how late he stays out when he does things like that, he won't have enough energy for anything in the morning!"
"O-oh, r-really...?" The Titan stuttered. He was blowing it, yep, definitely blowing it. "I'm going out to find him..." The Warlock said, about to leave, until the Titan moved in front of the Warlock. "W-wait, you don't want to do that!" The Titan started again. "And why not?" The Warlock inquired, crossing their arms as they let out an irritated sigh.
"Because... Because..." The Titan was grasping at straws, trying to give a darn good reason why the Warlock couldn't leave. Until his mind sprouted an idea. "Because you need to relax!"
"Relax...?" The Warlock said confused. When did relaxing come into play?
"Yeah, heh, relax." The Titan repeated as he took the Warlock by the shoulders. "You should definitely relax, you're tense all over!"
The Warlock blinked behind their helmet as the Titan took their shoulders, a bit surprised by the powerful grip he had on them. "O-oh... Okay." The Warlock reluctantly agreed, nodding slowly. Perhaps they were strung up too much.

The Hunter rummaged quickly and quietly through the Warlock's possessions, looking for something, anything that could give at least a little hint about the Warlock. "Dang it..." He said under his breath, closing a drawer that he was looking through. Why was this harder than he thought it would be? "Why do I care, anyway?" He muttered again under his breath, as he kept his hands on the drawer. That's a stupid question... he thought to himself. He knew exactly why he cared... Removing his hands from the drawer, the Hunter went back to looking around the Warlock's room.

"A-ah!" The Warlock yelped for the third time, digging their fingers into the couch's material. "T-Titan! You're being t-too rough!"
"If you'd just stop making those noises, I'd be able to concentrate!" The Titan growled, trying to concentrate as he continued to massage the Warlock's back. He was being quite rough.
"T-Titan, p-please..." The Warlock begged, their back was killing them. "Just be a little more considerate... Y-you must understand that I can't take what other Titans can, in physical matters!" The Titan sighed, easing up on the Warlock finally. "I don't know how you expect me to get the tension out of your back, though." He said, massaging the Warlock's shoulders gently. The Warlock's grip on the couch started to relax, as they lied their head down. "Mmm, this... This'll do for now..." The Warlock sighed, they could get used to this...
