Easy Exotics. Get them before they patch.
Want some new exotics? Here's how to get them. Go to Xur and grab a bunch of the 3 of coins. Grab a rocket launcher and do "the Scourge of Winter" mission. When you get to Draksis, before you go into the room, swallow 1 or 2 of the 3 of coins, and then go into the room, damage Draksis, and when his health is low, run up to him with a rocket launcher shoot him. What you want to do is kill him [b]and you[/b] at the same time. Cue exotic engrams. You'll respawn outside the room. Repeat the process. Don't forget to use the 3 of coins each time before going into the room. This doesn't always work, but I did it 10 times with 15 of the 3 of coins and I got 2 exotics.

3 RepliesThere's a faster way. Do Eye of the Gate Lord. Level 12 works fine. Use one Three of Coins just before stepping into the ring to summon the boss. Kill him, quickly grab whatever drops and immediately bail to orbit - now, each time you select this mission from orbit, you'll spawn right at the boss fight. I'm netting five engrams an hour, each lap is just over 2 minutes.
