Suggested Future-Additions to the Game.

Some ideas and suggestions for different features/gameplay modes that might make the game more fun. 1.) Custom-shaders; Buy custom-shader slots from Xur for 1 or 2 strange-coins a piece. Xur will give you a "Token" of some sort that you take to Eva Levante; Eva will take the token, and in return, will give you a "blank" shader and let you select from 3 colors and a pattern to choose from, a "Base-Color," a "High-Light-Color," and a "Detail/Trim-Color", and then the pattern/design for how it will look on your guardian, like Cammo-Pattern, Patched-Pattern, Solid/Plain, etc. How cool would it be to REALLY have a way of customizing your guardian so they look like YOUR OWN creation? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.) "G.H.O.S.T" Game-Mode; I have 1 of 3 ideas for this, either a form of PvP, or a form of "Competitive PvE," OR something as simple as a Patrol-Mission to add to Earth/Venus/Mars/Moon/Dreadnaught. -- Essentially "HORSE," but instead of Basketball, we're shooting enemies with "trick-shots," my idea for PvE and PvP are similar, you would have 3-v-3 teams in PvP, in which you're put in a sort of "Prison of Elders" setting. And much like how you had to kill a target or dismantle a mine, you'll be shown a brief video-clip and given a textual-description of a "Trick-shot" to complete. Example: "Jump and kill your enemy with a head-shot, using a Shotgun." > "Jump, do a 360 and kill your enemy by hip-firing." > "Land 3 consecutive head-shots on 3 consecutive enemies." > "Melee kill 3 consecutive enemies, without being hit back by them." Each time you or a member of your team misses a shot, you're given a Letter: "G. H. O. S. T." first team to spell "Ghost" loses." However, because this could potentially make for a /very/ long game, I think it might be more realistic to use it as a Patrol-Mission or a competitive PvE. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.) Weapon/Ship Shaders: The ability to add a shader/color-change to your ships and weapons to further add to the "Personal-Feel" of each weapon you own. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.) Monthly Community-Events: Every month a new community event will start, in which there's a new, massive threat emerging to the Last City and the Tower, either on Earth, Moon, Mars, Venus or Dreadnaught; on just 1 planet, each month. A massive boss-monster that will manifest at periodic intervals in different places on the Patrol Maps, much like a Public Event. This Boss-Monster is something that players in that area will all work together to kill, however it will be much stronger than normal Public-Event bosses (At least 200 light would be needed to be able to hurt it). Each time it's beaten, it disappears back to it's respective Realm/Lair, until it reappears again, later on. The amount of damage done to it will be added up and then taken off from it's Over-All "Health," which would be tracked on the Bungie Website or the Destiny App. (This thing would have so much over-all Health that it would take the entire month to be able to kill it). At the end of the Month, IF/When the Bosses Health has been reduced to a low-enough amount, a new "Strike" will be opened for all Guardians to complete, where they infiltrate its lair and finally slay it. There would be great prizes for completing the Strike and killing it, but there would also be additional prizes to the players for helping to fight it throughout the entire Month. The top-10 players would be guaranteed an exotic engram, plus other RNG-Prizes. The next top-50 would be given 2 legendary-engrams and other RNG prizes. And then the next 150 players would be given 1 legendary engram and RNG-Prizes. All other players would be given RNG-Prizes of "Rare" or Better quality. After the end of Each-Month, the event would roll-over and a new one would start on a different planet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5.) Sparrow-Racing: A PvP mode in which 3 - 6 players are transported to an Enemy-Free version of the Patrol-Maps on either Earth, Venus, the Moon or Mars, and engage in literal Sparrow-Racing around the Maps, following check-points that would light up on an overhead display-map. The races would be somewhere between 3 - 6 laps long. I would suggest 2 options in PvP for this; one that allows for Raid-Sparrows and one that does not allow for Raid-Sparrows. This would have to have a reward-system that is not RNG-Based, at least for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 4th, 5th and 6th could be subject to RNG prizes. -------------------------------------------------------------- 6.) Related to #5/Sparrow-Racing: BUILD-Your-Own-Sparrows; Have missions on Patrol in the Cosmodrome in which you look for "Red-Chests," those Red-Chests, when you open them, will be filled with Materials, Glimmer and "Sparrow-Parts," that vary in quality from tier 1 to tier 4, and Tier-5 would be "Exotic" levels: The parts would be: "Boosters," "Balancers," "Frames," and "Shells." You bring them to Holiday at the Hangar once you've got all the Parts and, say, 50 - 100 of each Material: Spin Metal, Helium Filaments, Spirit Bloom and Relic Iron. You pay 500 - 1000 Glimmer and Holiday will "Assemble" your Sparrow, which you'll then get to pick a Color-Scheme for. Once you've assembled the Sparrow, you can "Upgrade" it by finding random, better parts and then bringing them to Holiday with Materials and Glimmer and have her add on the upgraded feature, which would then Boost the rating of your Sparrow: (120 - 140 - 160 - 180 - and 200 being the "max" for Exotics.) Some sparrow parts will give you better control/handling, some will give you better "Balance," and make you less-like to flip your sparrow, and some will give you better "Boost" for bursts of speed. However, some parts will "Increase" some specs, but decrease others (Increased "Boost" will decrease your Handling, Increased "Balance" will decrease your "Boost," etc) Thus making you work to find a good balance that works best for you. After that, it becomes a matter of "Skill" as a Sparrow-Pilot. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- That's all I'll put for now. What do you guys think? Any other ideas to add? Any ideas you don't like? Leave some feedback and maybe we can help make "Destiny" even more fun for people to play.
