DeeJ and I were just conferring with the Design Team about how Three of Coins is performing in the wild. They are aware that the drop rates are too damn high, but for now this works in your favor. You earned those coins. Have fun spending them. The Nine may be delighted that you're blowing them all now.

4hrs is too long. It hurts people who pop one for strikes. 10-15mins is fine.

Unless... going to orbit, including for when you go to wait for a new strike, instantly resets the cool down. This at least forces people to play all the way through something.

This would negate the Vanguard strike playlist streak buff, though.

I guess I didn't explain it well. Whenever you finish a strike, you go to the "orbit" waiting screen while it selects another strike. Even if the same 3 people (fireteam) are going to still do the strike, it would reset the timer. It would reset even then. Male more sense now?

Too High ! I've not had one drop yet. Don't "fix" it because of this, fix the problem.

Do not nerf the drop rate. The drop rate is fine. Just make it so that the bosses like these story ones dont drop more engrams every time they die.

I used ten and got the Telesto. Instant gratification isn't what these offer. These increase your chances, they don't guarantee them. Keep hunting.

That's your issue. Use 1 at a time. Read the Weekly it states it there: Xûr will also sell a new consumable, the Three of Coins, which gives bosses a chance to drop Exotic Engrams, including Weapon Engrams. These consumables have a cumulative luck effect, so even if one doesn’t net you a drop, the next one has a higher chance to do so
