DeeJ and I were just conferring with the Design Team about how Three of Coins is performing in the wild. They are aware that the drop rates are too damn high, but for now this works in your favor. You earned those coins. Have fun spending them. The Nine may be delighted that you're blowing them all now.

I don't think the drop rate is that crazy but it should only work on high level strike bosses and such.

I think a lot of people are unclear on how the stacking works. Does consuming ten at once improve your chances?

No. Use one at a time. They give a 10% boost to exotic drop, if it doesn't drop the next time use a strange coin it's stacked to a 20% chance to drop. That's how they stack.

I tried it once it dropped one exotic in ten tries. I think the glitch its a cheesey is a waste of time.

See cozmo, here's the thing. No matter what you guys do, there's always been an exploit or a cheese. And there always will be. I actually predicted the 3 of coins would get nerfed when I heard about it... Thanks for proving me right bro. As for the "Save your coins" part, why would we wait a week is we can FARM exotics NOW? Anything xur sells can be obtained this way, so why wait? It averages to about 6 coins per exotic, so it's much cheaper

I think he means that if everyone blows their coins now they might do something or offer something later that people will regret not having any more coins for.

Nah.. it's RNG... just a "scare tactic" to try to prevent people from overusing the cheese. It would be better to just say "congrats, consider we are sorry for misleading you about the pre-order goodies.
