DeeJ and I were just conferring with the Design Team about how Three of Coins is performing in the wild. They are aware that the drop rates are too damn high, but for now this works in your favor. You earned those coins. Have fun spending them. The Nine may be delighted that you're blowing them all now.

Add a cooldown plus make it work only on Ultras in Heroics and Nightfalls?

A simple solution would be to introduce a cooldown after use, as with heavy synths.

Unfortunately kids abusing the current drop rate are ruining it for everyone else. Next time someone tells you they know of a loot glitch, tell them they're a douche and shouldn't use it, report it to Bungie instead.

Add a cooldown! Do not lower the drop rates. It will turn back into year 1 destiny

Plz don't change the drop rate. That would make them nearly worthless. Add a timer to them like ammo synth

I got consecutive exotic engrams during strikes, but I killed the boss, don't know if that makes a difference.

At least not for a couple weeks. I freaking ran out of strange coins getting completely ripped off by those bs helmet engrams. Thanks for all the 290 versions of shit I already had...definitely wasn't wanting any new gear...that would suck...

That makes sense. I used 45 and got 11 engrams. Were you expecting an exotic everytime?

Listen Here, I've got our solution. 1: Make the exotic drop happen at the ending rewards screen. This disables wipe farming. 2: ToCs only work on Vanguard Heroic strikes. No farming low-level ultras. 3: Every ToC should be a one in ten chance. 4: Every ToC will stack in a plus one manner. This would mean that 14 Strange Coins (Each stack of five ToCs is seven Strange Coins) can equal a guaranteed drop. Why 14 strange coins? Well, it's just a few less then a special wpn from Xur, which, considering the RNG involved, is quite fare. And... Bam! There you go, a (Near) perfect exotic drop system! That requires players to work for they're exotics. Want a guarantee? Use ten right before a boss! Want more chances? use less then ten each strike! Also, please give us the actual chances and statistical odds in-game, it would help a great deal!
