DeeJ and I were just conferring with the Design Team about how Three of Coins is performing in the wild. They are aware that the drop rates are too damn high, but for now this works in your favor. You earned those coins. Have fun spending them. The Nine may be delighted that you're blowing them all now.

The drop rate osnt the problem. The problem is using them on story missiin bosses. The same droprate would be FINE on strike bosses.

Or just stop abusing the repsawn system to farm exotics every 30 seconds, if people had used the coins on strikes they wouldn't be getting nerfed.

Wow. Too damn high. I used 40 in total and only got 5. More than I would have ever gotten and only one was usable. But, yea, you're right. We as players shouldn't be able to actually get anything in this game. We should spend upwards of over 200 strange coins and get maybe 2 engrams. That sounds like a fair exchange rate. Maybe we should just spend the strange coins and get nothing at all. Wouldn't that be better for you guys? Come on Cozmo. You're supposed to be the one that cares out the community.

I wouldn't put it past someone at Bungie to consider 200 coins as being reasonable seeing as the legacy engrams cost 31. 31 coins for a chance at replacing the Dragon's Breath I sharded? No thanks.

Its random. I used 10 and got 3 yesterday. But the first time i tried i got my first exptic after the 8th time.

Unfortunately kids abusing the current drop rate are ruining it for everyone else. Next time someone tells you they know of a loot glitch, tell them they're a douche and shouldn't use it.

thats not fair , first off you guys took away the exotic weapon slot when xur appears . so we cant even buy a weapon . secondly , theres no assured way of getting strange coins like the former weekly which was a guranteed 9 coins a week (27 if u have 3 characters) yeah they randomly drop from crucible but its not 100% . and what about the people who havent farmed every exotic yet ? we deserve to have that option to farm them if we want or not. this is a problem you created , not us .and its not like we're begging or even asking you to nerf 3 of coins , "omg nerf this thing that makes my chances to get a good weapon better " . we asked you to nerf shotguns in crucible , yet its still a guranteed 1hko . we as a community deserve a vote on this . not to just have something thats finally good , taken from us .

Think about the gap created between those types of players. Most of them are already 290+ light, the rest will struggle to reach this number because all people on LFG sites are asking for high light level to join any group. I haven't event completed the weekly nightfall after playing all week. This screwed up the expansion in a way that most people fail to see. Now just wait and be "amazed" with the fix that's comming.....I can bet they will f..k it up again, while the low geared players will be doomed. So even if a fix is comming or not the harm is done and cannot be completely repaired.

you shouldnt be doing, even attempting the weekly nightfall until you are 280 light anyway, and if you are trying to, you will lose unless you are getting carried by people who are. trust me. just keep playing strikes And equip higher level rares, dont use them to infuse your legendaries, save your marks to buy more legendaries. do all the quests you can, not just the main story and then start farming and trying to do heroic strikes and nightfall at 240-260 light. what people who are low light dont get is that as you get higher light, and keep farming, you get higher stat stuff to drop. just decrypt one blue engram at a time, go to gear see if its higher than any current slot, if it is, equip and get back to decrypting and the next one you do will have a higher chance to be higher stats rather than just how most bpeople decrypt by just mashing the button

You can infuse exotic items into legendary. Also once you hit light 300 Exotic items drop at either 300 or 310 (not sure what one).

Went through 25 of them I got only 1 exotic so its not too high
