9 Replies[spoiler]I found an even quicker way, on another level,with a drop rate of 2-3 exotic engrams from each death, as long as the three of coins does its perk right :) that i will be keeping to myself[/spoiler] I hardly can believe it since the 1 exotic engram per kill is a fixed amout and cant go higher... I dont believe you.

7 RepliesWill try this tonight! Legendary marks are abysmal and 12 months of collecting exotics is down the tubes. Bring the cheddar! I can't stand running blues, greens and low level purples knowing they are eating precious resources that will need more farming once the resources are gone and the real loot drops. This ain't a slight! Am loving the new content, but I've finally Sherpa'd some friends through the raids, which is a fun experience. But the rewards aren't there now so the excitement is mostly lost by the end, usually with a pronounced "is that all we get?" as the new green gunsmith weapons rain on the vault weapons now, and my rubbish blue/green sniper is outclassing my Ice breaker in every situation. The Icebreaker that was collected once, then collected again at a higher level. Then fought tooth and nail to get a god damn etheric light, and is now a toothpick again. I think it's only fair we get one back too when we can ;)

Since there isn't, it's really about individual gameplay/choice. The only concern for Destiny is, longevity. This type of game endures because of the hunt for shiny new loot. There will be many who use this consumable and then get bored as the "hunt" has been eliminated. I fully expect this to be "fixed" NLT Tuesday reset.

Thank you for burying this post, OP. I don't want anything to take away the excitement of getting an exotic Engram. Especially an obvious exploit. You did the right thing.

Sardok in the "Shrine of Oryx" mission (level 9) also works well. Very quick. You can save a checkpoint just before him by going to orbit after killing him, but before destroying the shrine. Be sure to respawn and grab your loot before going to orbit.

Did a quick run, got Claws twice, invective twice, 4th horseman, that blue lightning primary Zhalo supercell, hawkmoon, last word, voidfang twice. Lots of repeats considering! But all in all not a bad haul for 35 coins. Finally something a lil more interesting to shoot with again! I really, really wish they just brought our exotics forward. last year now feels like a waste since we're upgrading them all over again.
