I dont know man, those tethers are grear for making orbs and for buying the firteam a little time. Ifeel that NS is the best because its about on par with the other classes but then has so much more potential for setting up your teammates. Vanish in smoke, tethers, anchor traps, voidwalls, all of these can give you valuable time to set up an attack or just to run away, which will be very useful in raids, nightfalls, etc.
It's the best class for Hunter, as in it's the role hunters SHOULD be taking a in a party.
Hunters help with a ton of strategy but it's the DD Aspect of SB that gets orbs out quick for decimating yellow bars, and lowers the shields as a melee attack.
Stacking melting point with the ability that doubles the regeneration rate of the melee attack, you can absolutely destroy an enemy.
I tried fighting the heroic strikes yesterday and it wasn't the Hunter class that was the most effective. While the bow slows enemies, the ability doesn't last long enough for a retreat.
Idk man nightstalker in pve can make orbs for days.
And in rift and control the nightstalker been doing pretty good so far.
the people who complain about nightstalker. Most likely played as a blade dancer or don't main hunter.
