I didn't buy the DLC for Elder Scrolls Online yet, and the total content that was taken away, or that I am locked out of as punishment is NOTHING. That's right, an actual real MMO did not lock me out of any vanilla content that I paid for in my original $60 purchase. I still have access to all game features, and functions that I had prior to the DLC. I am only locked out of the center of the PvP map, but that is understandable since that is the location of the Imperial City DLC. I am in no way locked out of prior PvP areas, or public dungeons, quests, or maps.
I can as well say that my weapons were not made useless either, nor do I have to regrind new weapons. Everything is as it was in game play and accessibility that is was prior, with nothing changing. If you didn't buy the DLC you still have the features and content you paid for in the vanilla game. And the amount of content you get in the initial $60 game is massive making Destiny plus all DLCs look like a start up trial demo. So later I'll be throwing $25 at Bethesda because they're not assholes that extort their player base.
The only annoyance I had was getting my skills reset. On a level 6 toon not a problem. On a level 44 toon remembering everything can be a pain in the ass.

Edited by MatrixasISeeFit: 9/29/2015 7:55:55 PMBut they made you sign a User Agreement!!! That gives Bethesda a free pass to shit on you!!! Why are they not shitting on you? All MMOs shit on their customers that is why Bungie does it. It would be okay if they did shit on you because that is what User Agreements are for...a free pass to shit on those who sign it.
